Wedding day jitters, or so Tella told me. My body was so nervous that I wanted to throw up. My eyes eyed the bathroom at all times. My head wished for it to go away, hoping it was just morning sickness still.  I rubbed the bulge spilling out from my wedding dress. The way it was fitted helped me not to show as much as I was. To be honest, I was happy to be entering the second trimester of my pregnancy.  "Stop rubbing your belly!" Tella commanded. She took hold of my dress and pulled it straight again from the bottom hem. By the time I awoke the next day it was already late afternoon. The sun was shining like fire into the room making me sweat under my sheets. I tossed them from my body and hugged my pillow into my chest, wishing sleep would come again.  Dimitri shuffled into view from the bathroom, slicking his hair back with his long fingers. It was still odd to see him dress in ordinary clothes rather than our robes. The shirt he was wearing was unbuttoned, letting his long scar show. There was not much time for me to think. Just imagining a baby forming in my body was odd enough but to tell Dimitri he had helped create it was otherworldly. I felt like I had an alien growing inside, tiny as it was right now.  "Come in Dimitri," Master Tocho said, cracking the door open. "I'll leave her to deliver the news to you."  My eyes dropped from Dimitri to the floor, anything to divert my attention. Master Tocho was going to leave me on my own to do this. It was twilight before I woke from my restless sleep. The moon shone in my open windows and the warm breeze passed through my thin curtains.  So not only did my head throb, my back hurt like I'd been tossed around like a rag doll. Maybe I caught the flu, it was flu season right? I felt silly now. Master Tocho would probably scold me now for causing such a commotion.  I sat up against my pillows and stared out at the moon, noticing a small shape perched on the balcony. Thankfully i've been able to upload much more than i thought. :iconpologurl: has some special news! The Calling will continue after Book V. She has started writing Book VI and i think she is contemplating a Book VII to be the last edition to the series
